October 20, 2016 (BOSTON) – Wellforce announced today that Cynthia Baratta has been appointed to the position of Project Manager and will assist with the integration of Hallmark Health into the Wellforce system. Baratta brings more than two decades of health care operational, administrative and project management experience to Wellforce. She will work with clinical care and administrative teams to expand clinical services for patients north of Boston and will manage efforts for system-wide cost savings opportunities.

Prior to joining Wellforce, Baratta worked as a Senior Project Manager at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she oversaw several projects related to the expansion and re-design of the Labor and Delivery unit and the introduction of a new computer system for improved documentation. She also served as Interim Chief Operating Officer and Project Planning and Strategy Consultant at Lowell Community Health Center. As a Project Manager for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, Baratta spearheaded a year-long planning process for a $40 million project to expand and redesign perinatal services.
Baratta also spent more than a decade as a consultant to a number of Boston academic medical centers and health care organizations, where she provided valuable advice and guidance in developing and implementing operational improvements, strategic plans and initiatives for progressive change.
